Why the corridor

The defining trade route
of the next decade.

The Middle Corridor — the Turkey-Caucasus belt connecting Europe to Central Asia — is undergoing the most significant geopolitical and commercial reorientation in a generation. SGBA operates at its western gateway.

01
Geopolitical context
Post-2022 trade rerouting has elevated Georgia and the South Caucasus as critical transit nodes. The EU's Global Gateway and China's Belt and Road Initiative both converge on this corridor — creating a rare window of investment opportunity.
02
Capital flows
European and Latin American capital is increasingly seeking exposure to frontier markets with strong growth fundamentals. Georgia offers EU Association Agreement access, low taxation, and a strategic port position on the Black Sea.
03
SGBA's position
We are not a logistics company or a government body. We are the private alliance that activates the human layer — the board relationships, bilateral introductions, and institutional access that capital alone cannot buy.
The structure

Two models. One mission.

SGBA was built with a dual architecture: a member alliance where operators help each other across sectors, and an advisory practice for mandated market entry and corridor navigation.

SGBA Network
The member
alliance
A curated community of operators, investors, and institutions who share deal flow, sector intelligence, and bilateral access across the Middle Corridor, Europe, and Latin America.
  • Cross-sector deal introductions and co-investment access
  • Working groups across maritime, real estate, food & wine, education, and tourism
  • Access to bilateral diplomatic and institutional relationships
  • Participation in SGBA events, delegations, and forums
  • Membership by introduction or competitive application
SGBA Global Advisors
The advisory
practice
For organisations with a specific market entry or corridor navigation mandate. We deploy the board network directly in service of defined commercial objectives.
  • Mandated market entry strategy and execution
  • Sovereign and institutional introductions at board level
  • Cross-border legal structuring and regulatory navigation
  • Brand positioning and go-to-market across Iberia, EMEA, and LatAm
  • Engagements scoped and priced on mandate basis

What we've done

Three corridors.
Three outcomes.

These are not case studies in the consulting sense. They are the record of what happens when the right people are in the right room.

Who opens the doors

The board is
operational.

SGBA's board members are not advisors. They are active participants in every mandate — bringing personal relationships, institutional standing, and sector expertise to each engagement.
